Mouse Class – Autumn Term

What a busy time we had in Mouse Class this half term! We started the term by talking about Autumn and the book Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper. We made Pumpkin Soup with our friends. Some of us liked it and some of us didn’t.

Then we had a special fireworks day. We made sparklers, put on our gloves, drew fireworks and drank soup by the pretend fire.

We also thought about Remembrance Day and made our own poppies to display in class.

We had great fun on Children In Need day and all joined in with the Big Move with Joe Wicks and Pudsey Bear. Mrs Edwards was very tired afterwards!

We also read the book “The Everywhere Bear” by Julia Donaldson. In the book, the bear travels around the world in lots of different ways. We did lots of work around the book including writing and building. What can you see that we did?

And then to finish the year, we all took part in our fantastic Nativity which was written by Miss Walters. Some of us even had speaking parts. We were brilliant. All of our photos were shared on Tapestry. We are stars!
