This term the children have been investigating animals, insects, plants, fungi and berries in our imaginary woodland.
We have also enjoyed exploring real woodland in outdoor learning. We have had lots of fun and have enjoyed activities covering all areas of learning.
The children discovered faces on the tree trunks!
We crossed rope bridges between trees. We climbed trees and swung from the branches.
The children built homes for the woodland trolls and used sticks of the same length to make a bridge. We worked together cooperating with each other in small groups.
Last Autumn the children planted bulbs and they are now delighted to see their outside tyre full of flowering daffodils!
The Hedgehog class have enjoyed their outdoor learning experiences and would like to thank Mrs.Spicker and Mrs Zagni for planning and leading our fun activities.
