Friends of Drayton Community Infant School
Who are we?
People like you, Parents and helpers who give up a little time once a month to attend a meeting and a little more at events. We share the collective aim to enhance the experience of children attending the school.
What do we do?
We arrange events (for example, a safe and simple fireworks display, Easter egg hunt and summer fayre), useful (recycling clothes and photography days) and nice things ( Christmas cards and calendars) to raise funds for extra-curricular activities for the children.
What have we provided?
We have provided funding to classes for simple things like dressing up clothes, puppets and playthings. We have helped the school council when asked for outdoor toys. We have fully funded the ‘Trim Track’ activity trail.
What are we doing?
We are currently funding and actively involved in the super grounds enhancement to the school grounds. The friends will be funding and building the natural outdoor learning activities as part of the project. This will include a pond and allotments.
